Matthew, a young investment banker in Chicago, puts his life and a business trip to China on hold when he thinks he sees Lisa walking out a restaurant one day. Lisa, a woman with whom he had fallen deeply in love who had then vanished without a trace. Two years after her disappearance, Matt catches a fleeting glimpse of Lisa in a local bar and begins a twisting search to find her and discover what really happened. With a little help from his friend Luke, Matthew obssessively and relentlessly tracks Lisa down and while doing so, runs into another young woman, calling herself Lisa whom is an actress named Alex and may hold the keey to Lisa's disappearance and discovery.
